I'm Sarah Berchild, a UX strategist and product design leader building human-centered products that perform. I've led design organizations, pioneered design systems that cut time-to-market by 28%, and earned a patent in data visualization.
I've spent over two decades working in UX design across multiple industries from startups to some of the largest Fortune 100 companies, including Disney, IBM, Walmart, PayPal, Wells Fargo, Salesforce, and the NBA’s Golden State Warriors.
I'm currently open to two kinds of engagements: executive design leadership roles, and senior hands-on consulting for teams that need serious design firepower without the full-time commitment.

EXPERIENCES:
I savour the products that bring emotion; because I know what it's like to feel important, understood and valued.
Therefore that standard drives every design decision I make, from strategy to final pixel.
PEOPLE:
At the heart of it, I am a people-person. Deeply curious, genuinely empathetic, and most energized when I'm solving real problems for real humans, regardless of whether that's a customer, a stakeholder, or a teammate.
As a leader, I find it rewarding to be amongst others who also strive to "do better" for our customers.

INNOVATION:
The best solutions rarely come from the obvious angle. I bring a relentless outside-in perspective to every problem — looking for the framing shift that unlocks something better.

Thinking outside the box is what I do best.
